Hello everyone and welcome to Giving It Away!
Finally we are getting closer and closer to our grand opening which will begin on Monday November 9th. We won’t be revealing our first giveaway prize just yet, but rest assured it will be sweet!
But since we’ve had such a high amount of people already subscribe we thought it would be a great idea to reward everyone with the chance to earn bonus entry points towards our first giveaway and give you guys a little taste of what this site will be like with a bonus giveaway. Every person that pre-registers for our first giveaway will be entered into a draw for a new 8GB iPod nano with your choice of colour (from what will be available at the time of the draw).
Honestly, where can you win a prize for pre-registering to a giveaway? Let us know if you’ve heard of that before.
So here’s how to pre-register. First, please take a few minutes to read up on how to use this site properly by checking out how to win and our official rules pages. Once you’ve done that come back to this contest page and submit a comment telling us what you would do with a new iPod if you won. By doing this you’ll be entered into our draw for a new 8GB iPod nano and you will also receive a bonus entry into our grand opening giveaway. Yes, it’s that easy!
Want a couple more bonus entries into our grand opening giveaway? Earn one bonus entry by following us on twitter and tweeting this post (include both a link and @givingitaway). Earn another bonus entry by becoming a fan of our facebook group and then drop by and say hello on our wall.
If you do follow us on twitter or join our facebook group don’t forget to tell us in your comment what your twitter and/or facebook user name is so we know who you are and can award you your entry points.
Entry deadline into the draw for a new 8GB iPod nano is Sunday November 8th at 11:59 PM EST.

Our family picks gift requests off the foster kids Giving Christmas Tree.Lots of the older kids (12-15) have IPODS on their list. I would like to be able to make some kid happy this holiday season with a wonderful present.

If I won I would give it to my youngest daughter. She is the only one (besides me) who doesn’t have one yet. She’s asked for one this Christmas, but with money so tight this year, I had to tell her not to get her hopes up. What a great surprise it would be if I won and COULD put it under the tree for her. If I won a iPod nano I would be able to listen to my favorite tunes at work, at school, in the care…well you get the point…I would be able to listen to my fav tunes (oldies and new songs) anywhere! Also, it would help me keep up with my sister. My sister has an iPod nano and keeps telling me how cool it is and how I NEED one. Thanks for the chance!

I would be thrilled to win the iPod so that I can store photos — something important to me because I lost most of my family photos in the So. California wildfires in 2003. I am gradually getting copies of some family photos from family and friends, and would love to record them in a way that I could carry them around. I would also like to record meditation music, which would help me deal with the various medical problems I have had since breathing the whirling plume of smoke, ash, dust, etc. generated by the So. Having two boys, working full-time, coaching soccer and going back to school having an Ipod to call my own would be my pseudo vacation…..ah. First thing I would do if I won the 8GB iPod Nano is do a happy dance. Then I would get together a list of what I want to download to the Ipod Nano.
Next I’d put up more posts telling everyone how great your blog is while I was listening to the iPod.
