A little while back we asked you guys what you would like to see us giveaway. Some where a little bit above what we can do right now (like a car) and some where just not possible (sorry, we can’t giveaway a date with Jessica Alba). But most of you that responded wanted giveaways for gift card from various places.
So naturally we decided to giveaway a gift card, but we didn’t want to narrow it down to just one card so we are going to offer you a choice. We have $150 to put towards a gift card of your choice from either Future Shop, Starbucks, iTunes, Golf Town, Sport Chek or Chapters Indigo.
For our American friends, Future Shop, Chapters Indigo and Golf Town ship to the US but Sport Chek does not. And of course iTunes and Starbucks can be used anywhere.

I would definitely choose the Chapters Indigo gift card so I can donate it to my daughter’s school. She just started her first year. Every time she brings a book home from the kindergarten section they’re always craptacular looking. Most of the pages are torn or coloured on. I usually end up having to make up words that are missing from the pages… although she finds this funny! Even though $150 isn’t enough to replace all the books in the library I’m hoping it will at least help out with a future fundraiser the parents are wanting to work on after the new year for the over-crowded small community school.

Most definately I would need to choose the gift card to Future Shop.
For me to explain “why” , it would be necessary to divuldge information of rather sensitive nature. Suffice it to say I am not actually from this time period. (I will not elaborate further on that, please don’t ask)
The device that allows me access to the time slipstream has been irrevokably damaged due to a rather unfortunate temporal-spatial error made while plotting a quick exit from a disturbing situtation (I did not realize that my command of Ancient Mongolian had gotten that rusty and even the Mighty Khan gets very upset when you make unflattering references to his mother.)
I had planned to arrive in France in time for Bastille Day. And while it was in fact the second week of July, I was in not in France but in Spain; in Pamplona to be exact! So instead of being surrounded by revelers and fireworks, I was surrounded by angry bovines. It was at this point that my device met its demise.
Since July I have struggled to reconstruct the equipment purely from memory. (And oh how I wish I had paid more attention during “Temporal Quatum Machinery 101″ at The Academy, but alas as they say “Hindsight is Foresight”. HaHa, a little temporal joke!) I believe I have aquired all the necessary parts EXCEPT one. And would you believe that it is only sold in this quatum reality in one location on Earth? Yes. You guessed it. At the Future Shop! And the cost? A laughable $149.99 with free shipping.
So now you see,how much is at stake. My return to my time. My future as a Temporal Agent. The very nature of… But wait! I have already said to much. The least you know the better.

Great post!!! I’ve only heard through distant rumours of this so called “Quantum Academy” but always brushed it off as nonsense and I am quite excited to learn that it does in fact exists (or at least will exist in the future).
Here’s to hoping that we can get you back to your time to stop any damage to the space time continuum that you might have already caused just by posting this post! Well….I hope this makes you laugh, because it was so awful I HAD to laugh. Yesterday, I tipped over accidentally an entire pitcher of lemonade in my refrigerator. It was a disaster. There was lemonade in every drawer, shelf, plate of food, floor, you name it. 5 hours worth of cleanup, as I had to pull apart the fridge, was everything well, wash my kitchen floor multiple times. I had to laugh!

I love my son. I really do. I’m proud that he does his own laundry. Most boys his age that I know don’t. He very generously allowed me to frequently borrow the iPod Touch I gave him for Christmas last year to download and read books, check websites, and even listen to his music (we have similar taste in music).
I really do love him. He washed the iPod Touch in his laundry a few weeks ago right after I had purchased and downloaded a few new books.
So if I won the $150 gift card, I would chose Future Shop and buy another iPod Touch, probably an 8GB, or maybe put some more $$$ with it to get a 32GB. I have not decided whether I would let him borrow it.

I am a coffee-a-holic (five different types of coffee machines and counting – I use three regularly). I love books, I have book cases, boxes and piles of books everywhere. I would love the itunes gift card. One of my favorite pasttimes is listening to music. Some of my new favorite artsts are Rihanna, Lady Gaga and the cast of Glee to name a few.

futureshop to help pay for a new TV for my parents
i’d choose the Starbucks card because I love Starbucks but have had to cut back because of reduced hours at work.
I’d want the future shop one, because my friend from Saskatoon just got a $50 gift card to it yesterday and he was really excited, so I can only imagine how thrilled he’d be with being able to quadruple his total shopping binge there!
