What you might not know is that I am heavily into writing my thesis for my graduate degree at the University of Waterloo. Because of this really big time sink right now this giveaway will be open longer than normal (a little over 3 weeks), but we hope to make up for it by offering some great prizes and a really fun and interactive entry!
For this giveaway our lucky winner will be able to choose their prize from an Xbox 360, 120GB Sony PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii (with game of your choice) or a 32 GB iPod Touch.
Because we feel bad about this giveaway being 3 weeks instead of 1 week we are awarding everyone triple entry points! So for every entry point you earn we will give you three entries! I think to celebrate your impending Graduation you should go Bungee Jumping It is sure to get your heart beating and would be a great first video for your new youtube format on your site!
I think what would be super fun to do is take a trip around the world, or at least to a few places. You could record the different cultures and get a few people from the different places to dance or say a few words.

I am not very creative to suggest something fun … but every time when I was in Waterloo, I always went to the St. Jacob Main Street, and a have a piece of mousse cake which I enjoy it very much each time!

When I graduated many moons ago we ran thru downtown in our slips(aka underwear)and nursing caps. Ahh….the good old days. Would probably be arrested for that today. But it was great fun. So how about bodypaint for you and a run around the city?or school?

I suggest you treat yourself a trip to a place you really want to go to. In the first place, you sweat hard for many years to finally get this degree of yours. Go, book a plane ticket to a place/country of your choice and treat yourself a visit to the place’s finest food and culture.
I think you should go zip lining in your cap and gown…and then do an obstacle course with fellow grads..whoever loses most article of clothing at the end wins…or loses

On the same note as “stripping” for a purpose – might as well get some free advertisement that doesn’t require skydiving. Get a line of willing graduates and have shirts or body paint underneath the gown spelled out the site – and pull off the gowns onstage. Give them free entries as incentive for participating or something xP

Go travel somewhere warm, and do some scuba diving, it’s a lot of fun. Maybe you can find some sharks and swim with them for me. Or try some kitesurfing, that would be entertaining to film!

Well your graduation thesis could be about this man John Searl who invented SEG generators. I think he has an amazing invention and a source of energy which could potentially end the energy crisis and high priced hydro bills.

I think for your fun grad activity, you should come over to my place and go cat wrangling. We start by taking three of my cats for a walk up the street, we get joined by several along the way from the neighbourhood, by the time we reach the top of the street we look like the pied piper of cats. Then you let them be for a few minutes and well the fun begins. I will let you try to wrangle them up and get them back to the house. If one leaves, you have to start again. Lots of fun!!

You should become a child again. Graduation is all those years of education and hard work starting from the days of Kindergarten or earlier; why not go back to your roots and do all the things you did when you were 5 years old; like flying a kite; playing on the swings and chasing after butterflys

I say go for a few days getaway. I just booked myself a 4 day getaway to San Diego just because (well I got a good deal).
I would rent out an ice skating/ roller skating rink and have all my friends and family come and celebrate. I would also make it a dessert potlock where everyone had to bring in their favorite dessert. Good Luck with your thesis!

Skydiving seems to be a popular suggestion and was my first thought too, but I am going to recommend a hot air balloon ride. My husband and I took one on our honeymoon! While it may not be the same thrill as skydiving, it is still a very exhilarating experience and one that you can really take in and reflect upon!

I highly suggest going to Las Vegas for a few days. There are many things you can do for free, including seeing the sights.
Start a shaving cream water balloon fight with your graduating class during the ceremony.

Since you are being pressured to go skydiving, it is possible that you may give into peer pressure… I don’t know how strong your will is, so I just have to assume that it is a possibility. So if you go, I would recommend that you bring some of those shaving cream filled water balloons and have someone record the impact when they hit the ground from 10000 feet…. slow motion impact… think of how cool that would look! Wow… now I want to go sky diving. Nope…no wait, my chute won’t open… right.

Being that you’re a Habs fan (gag!)…I would suggest flying to California during the first week of March, renting a car, and following them on their road trip that travels through San Jose (Thurs, Mar 4), Los Angeles (Sat, Mar 6), and Anaheim (Sun, Mar 7).
You may not see them win a game, but at least you’ll have warm weather, hockey, and maybe even some March Break festivities…sounds like fun to me!

if travel is an option how about visiting one of the many wonders of the world, whether it be ancient, natural, modern or whichever.
Instead of skydiving, why not go dogfighting- if you can even find that in Canada. It would be a lot more fun shooting down a plane than jumping out of one!
HELLLLLLLLLLLLO this is givingitaway, right? I say you take the money you’d spend on a vacation, get it all in ones, go to the top of a tall building. throw the ones out the window while you have people on the ground video-taping the carnage.
Gotta do it right though… first just throw out 1 or 2, wait…. then do a couple more. Gradually build up to tossing a bunch out the window.
Don’t do this on a busy street though, we’re not trying to cause accidents. It would be nice if you did this in a “less-fortunate” neighborhood, but that’s not a requirement.

I think you should do a chartered fishing trip on one of the great lakes, followed by a big fish fry with your friends to celebrate. Lake perch are really good and tie in pretty well, don’t you think? If it’s a getaway.. how about a trip to Six Flag to ride the roller coasters?
I’ve got it!! Get all of your friends and school friends and throw an awesome party….at Chuck E Cheese!! They serve beer and you can sneak more beverages in flasks. There is something fun and hilarious about adults playing kids games and secretly drinking out of plastic Chuck E Cheese cups. Then make your friends give you their tickets so you can get yourself an ‘awesome’ graduation prize from the glass display, haha.

My attempt at making you laugh: We got pounded with snow, and my husband and I were digging the driveway and cars out for hours. He asked me to get him the car keys so he could move the cars a little so we could shovel completely. I threw the keys to him, and we lost them in the snow. We still haven’t found them a day later. Create your own Celebration/Graduation ticker tape parade like they have for Super Bowl winners. Cruise down the main street in your hometown celebrating yourself and inviting others to celebrate with you..You can even throw out miniature graduation caps like they throw out mardi gras beads.
Do a musical number on a busy street. Get a bunch of people together to sing and dance,lol!
I’m not very creative but I love playing video games for fun. Its relaxing getting completely involved in video game worlds.
Throw a masquerade party with all of your friends at your house with lots of lively music, and plenty of drinks and refreshments. Maybe include some ‘entertaiment’ as well …
I suggest you and your friends go riding around.
I think you should invite everyone that you really enjoy being around and have a big pajama party and of course what is a pajama party without a huge pillow fight. Get the video camera ready!
I think you should host a “through the years” party where you spend portions of the night reliving school years starting with your first year in college – show pictures, dress in some of the clothes you all wore, drink some of the drinks you used to frequently drink, eat or cook or have food brought in from some of your favorite places and have it all culminate at the end of the night to an all out bash in celebration of graduating!

First of all CONGRATULATIONS!! Graduating is a huge accomplishment in your life and your families life! What ever you do I think it would be awesome to share it with your family as it is family that helps you make it through all those tough times esp. when you thought you wanted to call it quits! Go out and celebrate with your family and “make a memory” (as my mom always says;) and definitely photograph and/or video tape it for the keepsakes!

For my husbands last graduation (one more soon for his bachelors) we got a bunch of friends together and cooked a huge meal for 30 people from the local shelter. They blended right in with our friends and family and we had a blast. There was so much food, whatever was left over we sent with them. Several of them made some great connections and got good job leads. It was the best fun ever!
Jump in a car with your friends, pick a direction, and just drive! Stop everywhere that looks interesting, interview random people, buy random things and get it all on video. Best home video ever

I totally agree with the road trip with a couple of girlfriends idea. I did that after graduation and am so happy I took the time to spend it with such great friends. We made some awesome memories. Also, it would make a great video, don’t you think?

I would do a number of things if I had the opportunity. I might:
-Go around and present people with prepared deep thoughts, with certain words removed and ask them to fill in the blanks.
-I would get about 10-20 people together, and start off with one sentence of a story. Then move around from person to person (or randomly) have them continue the story from where the last person started).
-Or, I would just do something basic like ask a bunch of the graduates and the professors questions like “What is something about yourself that most people don’t know, but that you wish they did?”

Just for fun and the challenge, I would hike down and up the Grand Canyon, the loooong way.
Do something that you’ve always wanted to do, but were otherwise to occupied to do it (school). Just try and think back to when you just started university or just before. What was the one thing that you wish you did? Bring your video camera with you and do it. Only you know what that is and others shouldn’t tell you how to have fun or experience something for yourself.

If I were you I’d buy an old VW van, pack all you stuff and drive. Go wherever you end up with no particular direction in mind. Meet people and just enjoy yourself.
I guess I’m a bit boring. I think every celebration should involve family and close friends and I don’t like big shin digs myself. I would guess you went to school for yourself, your family and to make it a better world.
Maybe you could do something that involves all three. 1st, a short sweet heartfelt but fun speech about how much these things mean to you…speak to the future – your families as well as generations to come, but most of all to the present moment, together. Then if its a warm spring night, watch a series of great movies about a better future – both animated for your kids and then one or two for you guys – get one of those projectors that will allow you and your guests (who aren’t eating off of styrofoam and the like!) can watch from your back yard. Or celebrate by making that investment for the future that maybe you and your family were planning – an off grid or sustainable fuel green home, maybe earthberm, adobe, cobb or dome home…or break ground for it! Have a work party and invite all of your friends. I’d come!

Well, when I graduated, I went bungee jumping to celebrate. It was pretty cool, since I had a LOT of friends with me who were doing it too. Well, actually, it was cool until I stood at the edge of the platform looking 220 feet down. I HAD to jump, especially since the whole thing was MY idea. The entire way down, I prayed, “Please, God, please don’t let me kill myself in this stupid way. If you let me live, I promise I’ll never do anything this STUPID again!”

Well, my suggestion for your graduation would be somethiing big like winnubg The Super Bowl (Which by the way my New Orleans Saints won…. anyways) I think you shoulf yell out “I’m going to Disneyworld!!!!) Now its just not for kids anymore. The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, The Animal Kingdom, and Disney Studios are great. I just left Orlando a few months ago for Christmas, and I’m already ready to go back. Not only Disneyworld, but you can also visit Universal Studio! There is a lot to see and do there as well. While there you can also travel down to Miami and enjoy South Beach. There is a lot to see and do… so check it out!!!!

If I were going to celebrate such a huge thing like graduation, I would go on a vacation to the beach and if I could afford it, I would definitely go back to Cancun, Mexico. There are some really great affordable package deals that you can find either through a travel agent or online. Then, once either at any beach or in Mexico, you can either kick back and relax or party your butt off.

When I graduated from college we had a unique wall on one of the buildings on campus. We climbed up the wall and hung a banner made from a twin size sheet with a saying that was popular amongst a group of us. It was kid of like tagging the wall only not vandalizing anything.

I always thought it’d be fun to walk around the mall wearing strange things, like graduation cap and gown, a tail of some sort, a wizarding outfit and footed pajamas…but not all at the same time. OK, I’ve thought a lot about this and i think it would be fun to road trip across the US and stop at every rest area and film and rate them-how nasty was it? Or how clean? Did you fall in the toilet? Did you vomit because the smell was THAT bad? Which state ranks number one and which had the worst rest stops?

I would suggest a road trip as well. Document everything and take lots of pictures. Eat lots of different and unusual foods, take food challenges, visit lots of different and unusual shops, and even talk to people. Have fun!

Congrats on your upcoming Graduation. Not really sure what to recommend to somebody else but I would maybe do a once in a lifetime kind of thing like sky-diving.
I would take a trip somewhere you’ve dreamed of going to for years. You might as well take it before you are working and have no time for it. Congrats!
If I were you I would take a vacation to som eplace you have always wanted to go and film you experience because once you get a job and start your life time just flies on by!

After living in Southeast Asia for 2 years, I recommend everyone to go over there and experience the cultures and unique food/fruit. After graduation seems to be the most free time to go do it. Beware of the fruit called durian…not for the weak…haha…you will understand

I would go to Germany and experience the old world culture and of course drink some of the finest beer in the world
I think you should go to a waterpark in your graduation clothing and go on all the rides dressed that way. I would avoid taking your diploma though as I don’t think it would survive a soaking!
If you’re stressing out, I say sit down with a bottle of wine and watch a very funny movie…laughing always helps get all the right juices flowing.
Tour the world while you can it will help you grow!!

After graduating, I think you should go to Maui. Go to the top the volcano/mountain, watch the sun rise, look out over the world and the rest will come to you.

My son was having a snack on the floor and the dog went and helped himself to his snack. He got so mad at the dog…and he went over and grabbed the dogs tail and bit him!!!!!!!

I think you should go on a trip, to someplace you have always dreamed of visiting and just enjoy yourself for a little while and don’t forget to take lots of pictures and post about it on here. Once you have started a job, there’s not much time for traveling, so enjoy your time for traveling now. Congradulations on your graduation!
